Laplante, 62, of Grace Avenue, Plattsburgh, died on Monday, May 4, 1987, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born Sept. 16, 1919 in Redford, the daughter of Bert and Anna (Reopel) Gonyea. On July 15, 1940, she was married to William Healey at St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. She is survived by her hus- band, William Healey; four sons, Kenneth Healey of Lake Placid, Gerald Healey of Walnutport, Pa., Ambrose and Her&ert HealeyV both of NeAr Millford, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Fleury of Constable and Mrs. Patrick,(C arolyn) Calnon of Chateaugay; 10 grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. James (Lila). Nichols of Calloway, Va., Mrs. XHenry (Leda) Defayette of Plat- tsburgh, Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) LaRocke of Cham- plain, M¥s7 AITredr (LeUa) Defayette of West Chazy, Mrs. - Ursula Warren of Bristol, Tenn. ![]() And Sister Theresa Gonyea of Kentucky; a brother, Wilfred of Morrisonville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and Remie. She attended school in Red- ford. After her marriage, she lived in Chateaugay, where she and her husband-operated the family farm. In the fall of 1980, she moved to Westville where she lived until the time of her death. ![]() ^ She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and St. Francis of Assissi Altar and Rosary Society, Funeral services were held Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. Burial • followed in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were through St. Mary and Murphy. Funeral Home, Malone.
